- Sami → Includes CSE's new AI Assistant Sami. Sami is a support assistant designed to assist UK schools with ICT-related queries created by CSE Education Systems. Sami can access CSE Service Manager. Use the menu command to create new service requests, view existing service requests, find information about Sami or find out how to contact CSE directly. Sami can use AI to help answer your questions.

New Features
Multiple Closed Status: The system now supports having multiple status act as "closed", so you can have status of "complete" which closes the request.
Preferences → Service Desk Settings → Custom Fields → We have increased the number of custom fields available from 10 to 20.
Preferences → User Managerment → Settings → New option added to Alllow Message Editing on View Service Request Form.
Preferences → Messaging → New option added for Outgoinging Email. Use Logged On User Display Name If Available, setting has been added to tell the Service Desk to put your logged-in display name as the display name of an email you send. This only works when sending to external contacts outside the organisation, but it means the email will look like it comes from an individual rather than a generic account. For example, it would display as "Peter Derham support@cse-net.co.uk" rather than "CSE Support support@cse-net.co.uk". This is an optional feature and isn't enabled by default.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue on Add Asset form where selecting a site didn't work as expected.
- Fixed issue on Image Library Browser where it showed multiple image browser controls.
Performance improvements
Viewing Requests → A slight performance improvement has been added when viewing a service request or when the service request refreshing after updating it.
Updating/Submitting Requests → We have put some performance improvements into the updating and creation actions of a service request.
General Tweak to Server Hosts → We have made some changes to the hosting environment to help improve the overall experience of using the service desk. We are hoping these changes will decrease periods where the service desk might be unresponsive to requests.
Categories → Changes have been made to decrease the time it takes for categories to load and come back, this affects when submitting a new request and when changing the categories in an existing request.
